How to set up a proxy in Undetectable

Add an HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 proxy to an Undetectable profile through New proxy and verify it with the Check Proxy button.

What you need

The proxy details in the format host:port:login:password. The Undetectable documentation states that the browser works with SOCKS5 and HTTP / HTTPS proxies.

Which value goes where. Choose the type by port: HTTP / HTTPS for the main port, SOCKS5 for the separate SOCKS5 port.
Address: HOST
Port: PORT
Login: LOGIN
Password: PASSWORD

Setup

  1. Click New Profile or open an existing profile.
  2. On the Main tab, choose New proxy. You can also choose a proxy you added earlier in Proxy Manager.
  3. Fill in the server address and port and choose the proxy type from the drop-down list. The Name field is optional; it is there to save the setting under a name.
  4. If the form has login and password fields, enter LOGIN and PASSWORD.
  5. Click Check Proxy to make sure the proxy responds.
  6. Save the profile and launch it.

What to check in your version

The official documentation does not list the values of the type list or name the login and password fields, and different materials call the proxy tab Main or General. Go by what you see in the profile window.

Check

  1. The Check Proxy button (Proxy Checker) shows whether the proxy is reachable for popular sites.
  2. Launch the profile and open the IP check page on Hopmind: the address and country should match the proxy.

Common problems

  1. Check Proxy reports an error: check the address, port and credentials, and that the selected type matches the port.
  2. Timeout: make sure the proxy is active and run the check again.
  3. The language or time zone does not match the IP's country: in the profile settings, set a language and time zone that fit the proxy's country.
