The site still blocks me or shows a captcha
Why a site may block or challenge requests through a proxy and what is up to you.
What you need
Knowing which proxy type you use (ISP or datacenter) and what you did on the site before the block.
Quick check
- Open the IP check and make sure traffic goes through the proxy.
- Open the site normally without automation and see whether the captcha repeats.
- Think about whether there were many requests in a short time: frequent requests trigger checks more often.
- Check that you are not signing in to one account from different addresses in a row: that also triggers checks.
- Make sure the proxy is used consistently for one account: changing the address looks suspicious.
- Read the site's rules: some platforms forbid access through a proxy or automation.
What it means
- Captcha: the site wants to make sure you are human. This is the site's decision, not a proxy error.
- 403 Forbidden or an "access denied" page: the site refused this address or request.
- 429 Too Many Requests: too many requests, you need to pause.
- Blocking by network type: some sites are stricter with datacenter addresses than with ordinary provider (ISP) addresses.
To be honest
A proxy changes the address but does not guarantee access. A site takes into account behaviour, the address's history and its own rules. We do not promise to bypass protections. If a platform does not allow working through a proxy, choose a task that fits within its rules.
When to contact support
Write to us if the address from the order is unreachable altogether or behaves differently than it should. We cannot change a site's decisions.
What to include
Include the order number, the time of the error with the time zone, the error text or a screenshot, and the name of the program. Never send the password.
