My anonymity
What a site sees when you open it, and whether that gives your proxy away. The check runs instantly, without sign-up; nothing is saved.

How to read the result
Sites do not see a proxy directly. They look for inconsistencies between the address and what the browser reports.
- Proxy headers. Via, Forwarded and similar are added by intermediaries that inspect traffic. If they are present, the site sees an intermediary.
- Time zone. The browser tells every site its time zone. If the exit is in Germany but the browser clock runs on Moscow time, it shows.
- Languages. The browser's language list is also visible to sites. On its own it proves nothing, but a language unusual for the exit country adds suspicion.
- Address and exit location. A site determines the country from the IP. We show it so you can check whether it is the one you expect.
What the check does not see
The page checks only what can be checked honestly. The rest we name instead of guessing.
- Address type. We do not tell whether it is a data center, an ISP or a mobile network: that needs a network database we do not have.
- DNS and WebRTC leaks. They need separate in-browser checks and our own DNS server.
- Browser fingerprint. Sites also compare fonts, screen and rendering quirks; this page does not assess them.
- Headers over HTTPS. Through an HTTP proxy an HTTPS site is opened through a tunnel, and the proxy cannot add headers. So a finding here means traffic is intercepted along the way: a corporate gateway, antivirus or an “accelerator”.
How far to trust the result
The address and exit location come from headers set by the hosting platform, not the browser. The location is determined from the platform's address database and can be inaccurate, especially the city.
