Proxy format converter

Paste proxies in any common form and get the format you need or ready-made code for curl, Python, Node.js, Playwright, Puppeteer and Scrapy.

Convert

One per line. Supported: host:port:login:password, login:password@host:port, login:password:host:port, and addresses like http://… or socks5://…

Conversion happens in your browser: proxies and passwords are not sent anywhere and are not saved.

Field order in colon-separated entries
Protocol

For lines without a scheme. If a line has http:// or socks5://, that one is used.

What to get

Paste proxies above and the result will appear here.

Formats the converter understands

Sellers and programs write the same thing in different ways. The converter recognizes the format from the line itself.

  • host:port:login:password: how Hopmind issues proxies, and many sellers.
  • login:password@host:port: how proxies are written in addresses and in most libraries.
  • http://login:password@host:port and socks5://…: a full address with a scheme. Special characters in the login and password are encoded in it.
  • login:password:host:port and host:port@login:password: rarer, but they occur too.

If the field order is unclear

A line like a:b:c:d can sometimes be read two ways. Then the converter assumes the address comes first and warns you. Pick the order manually if that is wrong.

Passwords stay with you

The converter works entirely in your browser: the page does not send the lines you enter to a server and does not save them. You can verify this in the Network tab of the developer tools.
